HANDHELD PCs
Earlier versions of Windows CE will lose language specific characters in documents
prepared with MS Pocket Word on the handheld computer. This bug has been fixed in the
Windows CE Services 2.2 Upgrade which can be installed from the main LinguaType
installation menu.
Sending a Pocket Word document or any file from a handheld computer to a PC
and vice versa is as simple as copying a file from one location in your PC's hard disk
to another:
- Connect your handheld computer to the PC and check whether the connection is established
- Open Windows Explorer, expand My Computer and Mobile Devices and find the
desired files
- Copy this file to the PC's hard disk like any normal file
When using MS Outlook on both a PC and handheld computer data and messages will be synchronised
automatically. Refer to your handheld's computer's User's Guide for more details.
